i wish i could fly

i wish butterflies could live forever

and that stars could come live with us

so that we wouldn't have to wait on shooting stars

to make our wishes

i wish i was a dinosaur

and that the dinosaurs never died and went extinct

so that then i could see the entire world

and how it became to be what it is

and so that i could have helped change the world

so that it wouldn't become what it did

i wish i was invisible

and free to roam this earth as i pleased

i would be able to do anything i wanted

climb aboard space shuttles

go swimming with whales

and just watch others live their lives

i wish i had love

a love that wouldn't be broken

broken like the others have been

i wish i had eternal happiness

so that the happiness would show in my love

an ever-burning fire

never dying
